Here at Green Lane Farm, we like to think that we offer a whole lot more than your average boarding kennel. With over 50 years of accumulated experience in the business, we’ve learned a fair bit about what our customers – both human and non-human – want from us.

This month, we’re taking a closer look at why Green Lane Farm is such a popular place for people in and around Kingston, Chessington and the wider Surrey area to trust with their favourite furry friends.

A home from home for your best friend

We understand that dogs miss their humans when they’re away, so we do everything we can to make their time with us as relaxing and as much fun as we can. For starters, you can choose what you think is the most suitable accommodation for your dog. And once they’ve settled in, we make sure we take the time to keep them occupied and entertained throughout their stay with us, so that they won’t have the time to mope and miss you!

And if you have more than one dog, and they’re used to being together all the time, we even give them shared accommodation at our boarding kennels so they can keep each other company during their stay with us!

Doggy day care

We’re here for you and your dog when you need us for a few nights, but if you just want to leave him or her with us for the day while you’re out and about, well that’s okay too, because we also offer a convenient doggy day care service.

Dogs hate having to spend time on their own, so if your work means that you’re away from home during the day and you can’t take your dog with you, we can keep them fed, watered, exercised and happy! Our team will spend the time with your dog that you can’t and make sure they’re ready for you at the end of the day.

Cattery

Here at Green Lane Farm, we offer cattery facilities as well as dog kennels. We understand that cats can be territorial, so we do everything we can to make them feel as relaxed as possible in their temporary surroundings, including outside runs and heated pens for those extra home comforts. We’ll also take time to interact with them every day during their stay, because while cats may be more independent than dogs, we know they enjoy being around people and it gives us a chance to make sure they are staying happy and healthy while they’re with us.

Care for your smaller friends as well

We’re not just here for your cats and dogs, we have the facilities and the experience to look after all your pets. Our commitment to small pet care means that we’re just as happy looking after everything from small rodents and rabbits to ducks, chickens and tortoises! We can keep them safe and warm in our heated, fox-proof pens, so that you can go away knowing that they’re going to be having as relaxing a time away from home as you are.

Experienced and friendly staff who love their job

When you leave your best friend with the team at Green Lane Farm, you can do so in the knowledge that you’re trusting him or her to people who love animals and will want to treat your pet with the same levels of care and compassion that you do. All our staff are committed to providing the best possible care for your pet, whatever type of animal it is and regardless of how long it’s staying with us.

Don’t just take our word for it, though!

There are a number of things you need to do before trusting your pet to any kennels or cattery. These include:

  • Checking their licences and insurance
  • Checking their reviews
  • Making a visit to see the facilities for yourself

At Green Lane Farm, we’re sure you’ll be happy with what you discover, and we’re always glad to answer any questions you might have about our facilities, kennels, cattery or any other aspect of our service.
